Paper ICAS 2000-1.3.3
CONFIGURATION OF AN UNMANNED GROUND EFFECT VEHICLE

This paper looks at the processes and
considerations involved in using an unmanned
aerial vehicle (UAV) as a ground effect test
vehicle. IT looks at the possible research
avenues and suggests any problems which are
foreseen in developing such a vehicle. There is
the added issue with the fact that the UAV is not
a specifically designed wing-in-ground (WIG)
vehicle, so problems are seen there and the
necessary modifications made.
